This is the first surfboard I have ever owned and I could not be happier. I love how it rides, how it looks, how it feels, and I have loved the personal and personable attention I received through the ordering process. I am such a fan of Aventuras, their boards, their story, and the kind humans behind all of it. I can honestly say that I have not felt this good about a purchase in a long time.
Aventura boards are even better than we expected. They feel very well made and the colors are stunning. We have surfed with the boards twice now and they still look brand new. The texture on the top of the board is perfect for grip without wax. And the leash is very comfortable. The leash it came with is a little long and I trip on it while walking, but other than that I am very happy with my purchase. For anyone wanting a good, solid surfboard I highly recommend these boards.
I am definitely not the best surfer, but I was able to catch a few fun ones in not-so-great conditions on my first time out on my new aventuras 8 footer. Really fun, really light and easy to maneuver. I got the seaweed green one and the color is really cool in such an understated way, which is hard to find for foamies. Great board for a fair price, would highly recommend Aventuras to those venturing out on the water.
Love this board! This first thing that caught my eye was the sick, sleek design and the affordable price. But, the best thing about this board, truly, is the quality & stability. Great for a wide range of waves and skill. 10/10 recommend!
I recently purchased a soft top surfboard from Aventuras Surf Co. to replace my wife’s aging 8.0 surfboard. I contacted a sale representative, who confirmed that they had an 8.0 soft top surfboard that I was looking for in stock. The model, I choose was the 8.0 Classico Series Foam Longboard. Placing the On-Line order was easy and straightforward. I received the surfboard the following day via UPS. It arrived in great shape, with no damage. The cost of the board was easily $100.00 to $150.00 less than some of the top well know soft top surfboard companies, while still offer a quality product in design and construction. As a first time customer, of Aventuras, I would not hesitate to recommend this company to my family and friends.
1. The surfboard measures approx 23” wide at its midpoint with an approx 2 ½” thickness, which provides a stabile platform for beginners. The board also maintains a wide profile from nose to tail (without being excessive) also contributing to the stability.
2. The top deck is made of a textured soft foam material that has some give when pressed on, but still feels sturdy when compressed. The bottom is composed of a rigid plastic material allowing the board to be able to plane through the water properly.
3. The transition seams joining the top foam deck to the bottom deck are well constructed with no gaps. The fins appear to be made of a high quality semi rigid plastic. Assembly of the fins and leash attachment went smooth, requiring only a screwdriver to tighten the fins top retaining fittings
4. This board in my opinion would be great for beginners just starting out, or for any experienced surfer who just prefers foam surfboards.
